Acer "Liquid" - Cheapest Smartphone in INDIA

Liquid is the first Wide- VGA smart phone in the market benefiting from the latest release of the Android. It is the cheapest smartphone in India with price of Rs. 24,900 with 2GB inbuilt memory. The phone is available in red, white and black colours.

Tech Features:
It runs on the Android v1.6 (Donut), powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8250 CPU processor which runs at 768MHz clock speed unlike the 1GHz version seen on the Nexus One and the Acer's own neoTouch Windows Mobile. It also has 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM for boosting application speed and overall performance
It measures 115 x 62.5 x 12.5mm and weighs 135g. It uses a 3.5-inch, 480 x 800 pixel WVGA display and uses the capacitive touchscreen technology for good touch response. It has an accelerometer for automatic UI rotation and proximity sensor for switching off the touchscreen during a call to prevent accidental presses.
Liquid is designed in such a way that any headphone can be connected, with 3.5mm headphone jack. It has status icons on the top which blink to indicate certain activities like low battery and missed calls and messages, etc.
The Liquid has a built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.0 and A-GPS, 5mp camera to take images with high anti-blur resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixel and can also record videos in VGA resolution at 30 FPS, USB connectivity and HSPDA 7.2Mbps / HSUPA / GSM Support.
Liquid runs quite smoothly and even enables playback of high definition videos with ease. Opening applications, browsing through images or surfing the web will be done quite briskly without any noticeable lag.
