Did Google Increase the font size of Google Search?

Google search which is most used and most popular search engine used by the people all over the world.
On each special day we will be watching that there will be a change in the logo that appears on the Google search home page. But until now we did not see any change in the font size of search form, search box or search results page. All of a sudden today morning I found that there is a significant change in the font size of Search form and Search box. First of all I thought that it may be because of change in the IE setting it may go wrong, when I checked the setting Text size was set to Medium.



Later checked on Firefox, Opera, Chrome but the same result, so got confirmed that really there was a change in font size. On the other hand I have noticed that there is no change in the font size of search results page.

The new font size looks some what odd and gives a idea like something happened in the setting for IE or Mozilla on your machine. Whether this is happened because of some problem or Google is testing the font size of its search form and search results page or Google is trying to sets is most popular search engine font size auto adjust to the screen resolution of the visitor.

Let what ever may be the reason this change has to be confirmed from Google end.
